The Lord has done great things for us,
and we are filled with joy. - Psalm 126:3 (NIV)

At times the mundane parts of life can make me lose my sense of joy in the Lord. I know that writing a paper for school or doing everyday tasks does not make me jump up and shout, “Hallelujah!” But I am learning during these moments to turn my attention...

Today's Prayer
Dear Father, we give thanks for all you have done. Restore to us the joy of your salvation. (See Ps. 51:12.) As Jesus taught us, we pray, “Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. Give us day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil” (Luke 11:2-4, kjv). Amen.
