[The body is] weak when it’s put into the ground, but it’s raised in power. - 1 Corinthians 15:43 (CEB)
I live and garden in the desert year-round. Among the things I grow are sugar snap peas. From the time I plant them, the peas will thrive for eight months and produce for more than five months. The plants climb on trellises to a height of more than eight feet....
No matter how small or wrinkled I feel, God can transform my life.
People who live in the desert
Respond by posting a prayer.
I join many of those who will pray for you as you seek to discern what you are called to be at this moment. May God grant you the courage to fulfill that calling. May we all open our eyes and see the misery, open our ears and hear the cries of God’s people, and, like God through the Lord Jesus Christ, be incarnate amongst them.”
