Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NIV)
My wife and I are retired and take care of our two young grandsons while our daughter and her husband are at work. Because we love our grandsons, we hate to see them crying or in distress. When they are sick or hungry, we joyfully supply what they need.
Like a good parent, God joyfully supplies what I need.

Respond by posting a prayer.
I join many of those who will pray for you as you seek to discern what you are called to be at this moment. May God grant you the courage to fulfill that calling. May we all open our eyes and see the misery, open our ears and hear the cries of God’s people, and, like God through the Lord Jesus Christ, be incarnate amongst them.”
