Nothing can separate us from God’s love in Christ Jesus our Lord: not death or life, not angels or rulers, not present things or future things, not powers or height or depth, or any other thing that is created. - Romans 8:38-39 (CEB)
I never really understood this verse until a few years ago when I was faced with the death of my oldest child. I went through myriad emotions and wondered if they were really valid. I was raised to believe that I should never be mad about anything that God allowed...
Even when I am angry, God is with me.
Those afraid to be honest with God
Respond by posting a prayer.
I join many of those who will pray for you as you seek to discern what you are called to be at this moment. May God grant you the courage to fulfill that calling. May we all open our eyes and see the misery, open our ears and hear the cries of God’s people, and, like God through the Lord Jesus Christ, be incarnate amongst them.”
