Each year, The Upper Room Chaplains’ Ministry distributes 270,000 copies of The Upper Room daily devotional guide to military and prison chaplains.

Rich in history and connection, the Chaplains’ Ministry started in the wake of World War II when staff began to work with military chaplains to provide copies of The Upper Room to our armed forces. Over time, the ministry grew to include prison chaplains. In recent months, it has begun to serve VA hospital chaplains, due to the generosity of donors.

Military, VA hospital, and prison chaplains who use The Upper Room in their ministries are able to give the men and women in their care a tangible reminder of God’s presence in their time of need—and this is a gift of hope.

Your gift to The Upper Room Chaplains’ Ministry will continue to deliver this message of hope and encouragement to our men and women in uniform and to our neighbors behind bars.

If you are a military, VA hospital, or prison chaplain who would like to learn more about the Chaplains’ Ministry or request copies of The Upper Room for your ministries, please leave a message below for The Upper Room Development Office.
