The Crisis Impact Fund is designed to help The Upper Room respond swiftly and with relevance to natural disasters, social upheaval, health crises, systemic injustice, and other urgent social needs and crises. Recent examples of our responses include print and digital resources to help Ukrainians affected by the war and to help Polish and Hungarian volunteers who are helping the refugees, a host of digital resources to help people stay spiritually grounded during the pandemic, and articles and a video series on the spiritual work of overcoming racism.

Previous work included retreats to provide healing and wholeness to people displaced by Hurricane Maria, bi-lingual devotionals for churches working with immigrant neighbors, and special prayer booklets for people suffering with HIV/AIDS.

Your gift to the Crisis Impact Fund will help to ensure that The Upper Room will be on the right footing to provide spiritual care when the next crisis arises.
